Being Defiled Part 1

Kingdom Greetings, Brothers and Sisters of our beloved Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I appreciate you and love you all much and dearly in Christ Jesus. From this point going forward, I will be writing and posting my blogs every other week. The reason for this change is because I have begun writing my third book titled: The Laws Of Marriage. This would be a great opportunity for everyone to read and catch up on blogs that I have already written and posted that are of interest to them.
These next series of my blogs will be centered on being defiled. I will define the word defile, show how a person becomes defiled?, and what is being defiled in the eyes of God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour is? The book of Mark Chapter 7:15-23 will be the main passage of scripture for this lesson series.
            Mark 7:15
"There is NOTHING from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man." KJV
In verse 19 of Mark Chapter 7, Jesus Christ tells us why. He said that those things that we put into our mouths DO NOT go into our hearts. I will layout a scripture example that would testify to what Jesus taught in Mark 7:15-23.
            Matthew 5:27-28
Verse 27- "Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, 'Thou shalt not commit adultery."

Verse 28- "But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his HEART." KJV
(Read also Exodus 20:14 and Deuteronomy 5:20). There we have it, Brothers and Sisters. What is the meaning of the word defile?
  •  Strong's Concordance- unclean and polluted
  •  Vines Expository Dictionary- pollute. In the context of an act in the moral sense of our words, thoughts, actions, in addition to our lifestyles of living out our daily lives.
  •  Webster's Dictionary-

  1. To corrupt the purity or perfection of
  2. To violate the chasity of
  3. To violate the sanctity of
  4. To desecrate, dishonor, contaminate, poison, profane, pollute, or violate. In the eyes of God and Jesus Christ, we CAN NOT be defiled by what we put into our mouths or cause our temples(bodies) to be defiled. It's what comes out our mouths by our words, thoughts, actions, and the lifestyles that we live that defiles us. However, there are things that we put into our mouths that are used by satanic forces as conduits which influence and produce within us the works of the flesh such as:
  1. Alcohol(drunkenness)
  2. Prescription Drugs
  3. Over the counter drugs
  4. Recreational Drugs(marijuana, cocaine, heroin, and opioids, etc.)

The lists above are things that when we ingest them affect our mental state and opens up our minds to be invaded and used by satanic forces whereby our temples(bodies) become defiled. This will be discussed in further detail as we continue on in this lesson series. God bless you and your families and the peace of Jesus Christ our Saviour rest within your hearts and minds.
