Word of God: The Purpose Of God's Part 1a

      Greetings to You all in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and grace and peace from God our Father. The word of God series will open from 2 Timothy 3:16-17. 
   2 Timothy 3:16-17 " All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. So that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." NIV.
These two verses of scripture informs us of the church as well as ANYONE that God draws to himself the purpose of the holy Scriptures. These two verses of scripture reveals God's curriculum for the development, growth, and maturity of his people in addition to those who are given the invitation(call) to SALVATION. Verse 17a of 2 Timothy 3:16-17 lays out for us the benefit that the holy Scriptures plays in the life of every believer from the pulpit to the door. For us to appreciate this lesson and this entire series. Each area of God's curriculum MUST!!!! be defined, starting with what the word of God and the word scripture means.
  1. Word of God- The meaning to this term is spelled out plainly in 2 Timothy 3:17a(NIV) when the Apostle Paul says that "ALL scripture is God breathed." God breathed means that which was spoken(proceeded) out of the mouth of God. In the King James Version it States "ALL scripture is given by the inspiration of God." Both versions are making the same point in this case. Which is that ALL SCRIPTURE that is written from the book of Genesis through Revelation proceeded from the mouth of God. Being communicated to us through Moses, The Prophets, our Lord Jesus Christ(God revealed to man in the flesh), The Apostles, and through EVERY written book of the bible by those whom were chosen and appointed by GOD according to his holy and divine will. To record and communicate to us those things which the King of ALL kings spoke from his mouth. As it goes for us, so it goes with God. Just as we here on earth are inspired by the words of writers, poets and by the spoken words of inspirational speakers. So it went for the holy men of God who were chosen and appointed by HIM to record and communicate his spoken words in the VERY bible's that we read and study from. Amen.
  2. Scripure- The scriptures are God's Words recorded by those holy men chosen and appointed by HIM to communicate to us that which God himself spoke. The VERY WORDS SPOKEN by the ALMIGHTY God and Creator of ALL THINGS and of ALL who EXIST in heaven and here on this earth inwhich we live. As well as in the ETERNAL WORLD TO COME.

  Kingdom Greetings, Brothers and Sisters of our beloved Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I appreciate you and love you all much and dearly in Christ Jesus.
