Word of God 1e: Training In Righteousness

     I welcome you all in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Who is King of ALL kings, Lord of ALL lords, The bright and morning star. We are continuing with our word of God series, discussing the term training in righteousness.
  • Training-This word is defined by Roget's Thesaurus as 1. The act, process, or art of imparting knowledge and skill. 2. Repetition of an action so as to develop and maintain one's skill.
  • Righteousness- Roget's Thesaurus defines this word as the quality or state of being morally sound.
It would be misleading and a grave dishonor to God and Jesus Christ if I did not mention that there is not a single person on this earth that could say that they are good. At least not in the sight of God our Creator. Jesus Christ our Lord said this himself(Please Read Matthew 19:16-17). Apart from the righteousness of God there is none of us that is righteous in his sight, this includes those of us in the church.
 When we are recieving our training in righteousness. We are going through a continual process of having the knowledge of God Being imparted into our hearts through the holy scriptures(God's word breathed). This knowledge of God is repetitive in order to help us to develop, grow, and mature into men and women of God. So that we will be a bride(church) prepared and ready to be received by the bridegroom(Jesus Christ) when he comes for us. Futhermore training in righteousness helps us to live and maintain a life and lifestyle before God and Jesus Christ. One that is both spiritually and morally upright as well as blamless. In other words holy. This verse of scripture defines perfectly what training in righteousness is all about.
  • Psalm 119:105- "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." KJV.

Being Defiled Part 1

  Kingdom Greetings, Brothers and Sisters of our beloved Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I appreciate you and love you all much and dearly in Christ Jesus.
