Laws of Marriage and Divorce Part 4
Welcome readers to part four of this series. Our lesson this week will be coming from the book of Romans 7:1-3. In this portion of scripture Paul the Apostle uses as a metaphor from the laws of marriage to teach the mixed congregation of believers in Rome why believers in Christ are no longer under the law. The points that the Apostle Paul made are plain and clear: That the woman is obligated to her husband and is under the laws of marriage and that marital relationship as long as he lives. Once her husband dies she is no longer obligated to him or the marital relationship under the laws of marriage. However, if her husband lives and she is married to another man( even if she was divorced from her that husband) she would be an adulteress and living in SIN.
