Jesus Christ Prophesy's to his Apostles their future

Welcome and Kingdom greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. This week's blog lesson will be taken from the gospel of Mark 12:13, so let us begin. In order for us to have a clear cut understanding of this verse and the prophecy of Jesus Christ. It is vital to understand the context in which this prophecy is being spoken.
It all starts with Mark 13:3-4 where Jesus is sitting upon the top of the Mount of Olives which is across from the temple mount and the temple from where Jesus Christ and his disciples have just left. Overlooking the beautiful and majestic city of Jerusalem. This setting was the perfect place for Jesus Christ to speak forth this prophecy so that the four Apostles could be able to grasp the fullness and gravity of this powerful prophecy concerning the state of the Kingdom of God here on earth with the events to follow. Sitting on the Mount of Olives the Apostles Peter, James, John, and Andrew was asking Jesus the state of affairs concerning the Kingdom of God here on earth and the future of it. Read Mark 13:3-4. Jesus reply was in relation to Mark 13:1-2 when Jesus left the temple in Jerusalem with the Apostles and they pointed out the beautiful building and the stones that were used to construct the buildings within the Holy City of God. In Mark 13:2 Jesus told the Apostles that neither the buildings or the stones that were used to build them would be left standing.
In Mark 13:12 is where Jesus Christ our Lord begins to prophesy concerning the people in God's Kingdom here on earth and what would happen to them. This was a personal prophecy for the Apostles to one for the citizens of God's Kingdom includes us of the Church of Jesus Christ also. Jesus Christ prophesied the following:
Mark 13:12- " Now the brother shall betray the brother unto death, and the father the son, and the children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death." KJV
The word betray in this verse is a reference to being handed over and turning in. However, in Matthew 24:10 Jesus says that there shall be many people offended as well as betraying and hating one another because of the love of God and Christ will grow cold and iniquity will abound(increase). Matthew 24:9 Jesus Christ tells the Apostles that they would be afflicted, killed, and hated by people(unbelievers).  Lastly, in Luke 22:12, 16-17 Jesus Christ expounds the prophecy further and in more detail to the Apostles telling them that they would be persecuted, and be betrayed by their immediate and secondary members and friends. That they will cause them to be put to death and that they would be hated by all men. Please read Luke 21:12-17.  Jesus Christ was prophesying to the Apostles concerning the future state and events concerning the Kingdom of God here on earth and the citizens of the Kingdom of God along with the events that would be taking place.
Next week God will use me as his vessel again and as he always does how show how this prophecy was fulfilled in part in the Apostles day during the beginning of the Church and how it applies to us of the modern-day Church and how it come to complete fulfillment during the tribulation period. God bless you all and God bless your families.
